This little church stands in the tiny town of Nicasio. Andy and I arrived there after driving through Lucas Valley, which, coincidentally, is where George Lucas has his “Skywalker Ranch.”

Karl, you are a truly talented fellow. (I wish you’d taken our cruise photos for me- they’d be in focus, and interesting.) Can’t wait to see more from your SF excursion; they’re wonderful images.
I ran across your site searching for spotted banana slugs and have enjoyed nosing around. Nice photos! I live in Marin, and can’t resist pointing out that the town referred to above is Nicasio.
Thank you, metatarsul, for the correction. Maybe I got the name wrong because I confused it with Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. Anyway, I’m glad you like the photos. 🙂
