Fun in the Snow

The kids (and Andrew) had a blast on the hill behind Andrew’s house on Boxing Day. Here are a few pictures of the fun:

Thanks, Karl. What precious memories for the whole family.

Superb photos, Karl! Considering the subjects AND the guy behind the camera, why not, huh?
That was a charming day, ending with the nearly Norman Rockwell-esque scene down the hill. Thanks for documenting – and sharing – it with us.
Then here we are less than a week later, with temps in the 50’s and the snow shelf on the lake being chopped up by rowdy whitecaps from the south.
Glad you caught the snow scene when you did!

Karl – Great pictures. Thanks for sharing the memories. It was great to see you and Sara over the holidays. Hope to see you again soon.
On a separate note, I feel compelled to share some sad news regarding a close colleague of mine. She was killed yesterday in a suicide attack in Iraq. I have worked with her since 1994 and she is a year younger than us. So much life ahead of her – and it has been cut short in such a tragic way. Please keep her family and my work colleagues in your thoughts. This is a very difficult time.

  4. Melissa – It was great to see you, too. I’m so sorry to hear about your colleague. How terribly tragic. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

This looks like fun! Too bad the pictures are still broken even after so many reloads. I am looking forward to seeing more of this memorable experience you had with your family. I always treasure these kinds of stories because it is very much impossible to happen to me. May your family grow and prosper together more and more.
